The Tea Shop, part 1

The January thaw was right on schedule. And then, as it always did, the weather turned cold again. But Rabbit was ready. Using her recent shipments of plain black and green teas; piles of dried flowers, fruits, and herbs; and her oils and spices and citrus peels, she had blended several new-favorite flavors of tea, plus a few herb-and-flower tisanes. Each one was now stored in a giant glass jar on the wooden tabletop in what had been the front room of her burrow, but which would — very soon — be her tiny tea shop.
