The Stay Inside Day

by

The fickle spring weather was bright and warm one day, then cold (but sunny) the next, then dreary the day after that.

Old Possum had planned to walk to Rabbit’s that morning. But when he stepped outside his front door, a giant raindrop landed with a cold, wet plop on his nose, and he decided that he wanted no part of this dreary, wet day.

So he went back inside, made a pot of tea, searched his bookshelves until he found something sunny and warm and drowsy, and then took his tea and his book and himself back to bed.
