New Potted Plants

by

The Gardener and his wife had evidently been shopping.

During her morning stroll, Raccoon noticed that the patio at the back of the cottage was now lined with numerous pots and planters, filled with tomato and sweet-pepper plants, basil, rosemary, chives, dill, lavender, strawberries, and even a small lemon tree.

Raccoon studied the new additions carefully, all the while contemplating what she might steal for a summer tea party or two.
