The Family Brunch

On one of her morning strolls, Rabbit couldn’t help but hear Crow and her siblings and cousins while they gathered for their once-a-season potluck brunch.

For anyone on the ground, it was difficult to miss these occasional treetop parties, as the crows laughed and shouted and sang while sharing all the latest family gossip, snacking on ham biscuits, and sipping on the spiked punch they’d made using their great-grandmother’s secret recipe.
